Wells Moody Motel

Cute and cozy motel! I had a quick stay as I was continuing my drive north the next morning but 10/10 recommend! Friendly service, comfortable beds, and clean rooms!

The front desk was helpful and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable. They even put a little table and two chairs at the front porch of every room. The beach was about just down the side street, about half a mile away.

Very very basic motel but what one should expect for the off-season rate of $89 per night. We only stayed one night and then headed to New Hampshire. So it was sufficient for our needs... Basically, sleep & shower, and get going the next morning.

We stayed a couple nights for no other reason that we’ve never been to Maine. This motel was nearly ideal for our visit. We had no plans except to just explore and see what is around. The motel was centrally located between Ogunquit and Kennebunkport, 2 places we visited for a park and walk tour. The beach is a short drive from the motel. The room was clean. It is a dated facility, but if you like to experience that old school motel charm, you will like the place. The managers were very welcoming and accommodating. This motel is definitely worth checking out.

Excellent Motel!! Nice rooms and staff. We have been staying here for about 7 years. Always very accommodating. We now go up eith our daughter, her husband and 3 kids. They love the place too! The kids enjoy the pool and the beach is at the end of the street. Planning on returning next year! Thanks Manny!

While I have been visiting Wells,ME since I was a kid, I rarely stay overnight. But we found ourselves with a few days, a heat dome, and said, let's make this a thing. I reviewed several places to stay and settled here, and am very glad I did! The value for the price is pretty phenomenal. I've worked in hospitality before, so I always sweep a room upon arriving. Corners were clean, mattresses clear and zipped in liners, linens fresh and crisp, and the bathroom was clean as well. The bathroom was a bit on the small side but perfectly adequate, and the room was surprisingly spacious for two adults and two kids. A/C kept the room cool, and being in the back, it was super quiet. Pool was awesome as well. Most importantly, the bed was super comfy. We will definitely be back.

This motel is adorable! Perfect for a great weekend away! The rooms were clean, the A/C worked wonderfully, and the customer service was phenomenal! Checking in was a breeze and they even checked on us after a few days to make sure we were enjoying our stay! The motel is next door to a souvenir shop, across the street from a restaurant, and a short 3 minute drive from the ocean! It's a perfect location! Would recommend 1000%!

Nice, quaint motel. Polite & helpful staff. Although this property is a little older, it is well kept and clean. Good lighting in the parking areas. Reasonable prices. Several restaurants close by.
